In fact, I come from a working-class family in the country. But, thanks to the support of my mother, my siblings and the Heinrich Böll Foundation, I even managed to study and get my doctorate.
Just a few years ago, you could have found me exhausted in my business outfit, coming home late from work and frustrated not to have enough time for my family and myself. I was always chasing the latest technologies and innovations to be an excellent innovation manager and engineer and fulfilling all wishes and requirements of my bosses. And they were always happy in contrast to me.
To tell the truth, in the past, I was teaching intrapreneurship in a Corporate and all topics referred to Innovation Management at University. Still, the real entrepreneurship experience was missing, and I was fascinated by the option of being an entrepreneur and independent. Finally, I am convinced I can only truly be the best teacher when I have experienced things by myself.
At the age of 43, I decided to quit my job after 13 years and put all one`s eggs into one basket to start my own company in a foreign land with a foreign language. And my dream was to live where other people make holidays. I know I am crazy, but I need challenges! And now here I am.
