Hands-on Hydrogen Training in Yverdon

The final hydrogen training course of 2025 concluded in Yverdon, Switzerland, bringing together professionals, trainers and researchers for two intensive days of practical work on fuel cell and electrolysis technologies.

Participants worked directly with real systems under operating conditions — observing characteristic curves under load, analysing efficiency, and exploring materials and components that are central to today’s hydrogen applications. The atmosphere was focused, curious and highly interactive, with many questions turning into tangible understanding at the lab bench.

This training was delivered as part of the publicly funded Interreg Green SKHy programme, in close collaboration with PLANET Engineering, Deutsche WindGuard and the University of Groningen.

The video offers a brief impression of the hands-on experimental work; additional materials experiments and discussions took place beyond what can be shown on camera.
